Macs running WinXP

April 6, 2006

Well done Apple. With officially enabling WindowsXP on their Intel based Macs with "Boot Camp" they did a great step forward. Now one can run all major client side operating systems, Windows, Linux, OSX on one machine.

'Like the old saying goes "If you can't beat 'em...Boot 'Em!"'

But even more important than the dual boot is the availability of VMware on OSX. "Boot Camp" also means a major step forward for this because Apple is now offering all necessary drivers for Windows.

Currently I have a Thinkpad and a Powerbook but I guess my next notebook will be a MacBook Pro.
